Hey everyone,
I'm Collin. I used to be an actor. I lived in New York City for a number of years working on the stage primarily. This vector was mostly positive until I started: 1) doing psychedelics; 2) listening to podcasts; and 3) getting sick of auditioning for shitty plays.
Embodiment has been a theme throughout my life. After NYC, I studied yoga in India for a 6 months, trained at a Zen monastery, and started apprenticing with a medicine woman guiding psilocybin mushroom journeys for executives. I became fascinated by all the research in embodied cognition and trauma release and started integrating various practices in the mushroom journeys.
For the past year and change I've also been running a podcast called ZION 2.0 where I interview a wide range of thinkers about the future.
Now that we're quarantined, I'm wondering how to design an ecology of embodiment practices that can be transmitted and engaged with digitally.
